Since the husband returned home from deployment he’s been very helpful.
I am so thankful.
He does some things differently than Mom (like nuke the turkey bacon to oblivion); he does some things way better than Mom (like read stories at bedtime).
We are all adjusting well, and I know friends have prayed for us.
One job he’s taken on is dispensing meds to Rhema in the morning.
As I blogged recently, we decided to give the Miralax powder a try.
I never told him how much to give her. Just assumed he would adjust the adult-sized dosage to a 6-year-old portion.
The other morning I heard a happy “Time for your Miralax!” and saw him going after poor Rhema with this:
(Yes, that’s thirteen droppers full of Miralax mixed with juice).
.
No wonder life around here has been such a blowout.
.

O.M.G!!!!!
Ummmmmmmm oh wow! Ummmmm yeah I got nothing. You tell Brandon he’s left me speechless and that takes some doing! Holy Moly!!!
Wow.
Oh, my! How is the miralax going for you? My granddaughter, Isabella, has now held her bowel movement for five days. Yes, five days. It is frightening. She still wouldn’t go with the miralax and now my daughter might have to do a suppository tonight. Not fun.
Hope you have a great weekend, gail
Oh.My.God.
Glad you caught that!
AAAHHHHHH!!!
Oh Brandon.
Love him. =)
love!
but i bet he microwaves more than one taquito at a time.
: )
Let’s get this straight.
1. That is MOSTLY juice.
2. We gave Rhema almost that many droppers full of medicine daily when we were doing the alternative medicine with Dr. Boch.
3. Neally gave the contents of the droppers to Rhema anyhow…just in a cup, so…
4. The bacon is done just right…crispy and delicious.
5. And, yes Cha, I can handle more than one taquito/taco in the microwave at a time rather than 15 separate microwave sessions [because as I’m sure Neally has explained to you that she believes the tacos are of higher quality for the children if microwaved one at a time] as the kids devour the tacos before Neally can get the next one out of the microwave which causes Neally to completely stress out because the kids are wanting more and she is waiting on the microwave one taco at a time.
6. I love how my wife is always considering my daughters’ needs ahead of any convenience for herself (us)…even if it causes her (us) much work…our daughters always get Neally’s best. Always.
dude. #3 is wrongggg.
the picture speaks for itself… as does rhema’s output.
