Tightening Our Belts

Due to the economic downturn,

we are conducting certain autism therapies at home:

Hippotherapy:

Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment?

Chiropractic care and deep pressure techniques:

hopetherapy

(Just kidding. We’ve actually never done any of these therapies.)

  1. Ha! That is a precious picture of Hope and Rhema.

And is Rhema wearing a red velvet leotard in the hippotherapy photo, or is that a pretty dress?!

I learned another new word: hippotherapy. (Thanks for the link!) 🙂

    Epiphany blessings!

  2. Yes, it does kind of look like a leotard, huh? It’s just a red dress she got for Christmas. I was pleasantly suprised that she kept the dress on. (She is wearing black leggings underneath, but she pulled those up to her thighs.)

  3. That is pretty good!

It is funny you left a comment on my blog because I have been thinking about you for several days. I have a hard time commenting on your posts because they leave me (most the time!) in tears and with a full heart. You are very special and are such an inspiration. Thank you for your posts, your comments, and your encouragement. I am praying for you as you face the decisions at hand regarding the move and deployment. HE holds you in His hands!

  4. Adorable! We have a few “therapies” going on at our house too – some involving the cat…my littlest seems to be obsessed with him right now…but I haven’t come up with any fun names for them yet! Just yesterday we had some wonderful “aroma therapy” when he found my daughter’s perfume stash…the effects are still lingering!
