Perfect Word

As I play with words to write

And we chase, chase after words from Rhema

I think of how I don’t always trust the words of others

And even just today something I said didn’t come out right

In the late night when the world is a hush,

I am restless, searching, helpless, undone.

Stimming to Words with Friends

the letters M-E-R-C-Y, triple word play, reach me, to save me.

I recall the only perfect words.


You are my hiding place; you preserve me from trouble. You surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul… Lamentations 3:22-24

Behold, I make all things new. Revelation 21:5

The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Job 1:21

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5,6

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Heb. 11:1

My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word. Psalm 119:25

But the Word of the Lord stands forever. And this is the Word that was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:25

The Lord is my portion, saith my soul…
