Dress up

On a Saturday morning I walked into Hope’s room and then quickly ran out to grab a camera. For sitting there on the bed was a princess!

This particular princess is typically very uncomfortable in her clothes. In fact she often bites or rips her shirts to pieces. She does not tolerate jewelry and she does NOT do hair accessories. She prefers to keep to herself, doesn’t have much use for words, pretend play, fairies and balls.

But for her sister Hope she will quietly do just about anything. Even let her dress her up. She willingly joins in because she is pushed invited in, never left out for a moment.

And my heart overflowed watching them, so thankful God made them for each other, for this journey together.

(I sent the picture to Brandon and he wrote back: THANK YOU HOPE for loving Rhema into a princess. You give good gifts to mommy and daddy when you love each other the way you do.)

“See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”
Zechariah 3:4
